The Full Story
About how it all started...

John Archie Graham was born on May 4, 1898 to Jim Graham and Jannie McCoy in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Louise McLean was born on May 4, 1904 to Willie Brown and Nancy McLean. John Archie and Louise McLean married on November 7, 1922. From this union 10 children were born, six sons (James Archie, James Willie, John Edward, Issac, Philmore and Melvin Albert and four daughters (Lorena, Flora, Ruth Marie and Naomi).
Mrs. Louise was a native of Scotland County for over 80 years, she was a lover of people, especially youth and a philanthropist in her own right. She devoted over sixty years of services to mankind through the church, local community and state organizations. She loved young people and her desire to see them become the best they could be made her heart happy. She felt that education was extremely vital to the young as well as the old.
John Archie Graham died on April 5, 1943 and Louise McLean Graham died on March 10, 1985 in Laurinburg, NC.
For 101 years the reunion has taken place the 1st weekend in August every year. Family from all over come together to celebrate the legacy and life of the Grahams and its generations to come. We are individuals who have based our lives on GOD and solid foundations which have helped to enhance mankind through our passions and various careers.
